Sixth Postgraduate Orthopaedics FRCS (Tr & Orth) UK Revision Course 2019

The sixth Postgraduate Orthopaedic 6-day FRCS (Tr&Orth) revision course was held at Newcastle Civic Centre, Northumbria University and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead in January 2019.

We returned to Newcastle Civic Centre as this was a great venue to hold the lecture programme. The seating arrangement in the chamber is very comfortable which was especially important give the length of the day for candidates. The IT support system had been upgraded last year; the lecture programme was excellent with no hiccups thanks to this.

We went back to the Sandyford building for the viva day as the room available for vivas at the Civic centre wasn’t big enough to cope with the increase in candidate numbers.
