Description
I am a Consultant Trauma Orthopaedic Surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust with a subspecialty interest in trauma with pelvic and acetabular surgery and primary hip arthroplasty.
I graduated from Sheffield Medical School and initially undertook higher surgical training in London on the Stanmore rotation before transferring to South Yorkshire. I have done major trauma fellowships at The Alfred, Melbourne Australia and at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.
I have a desire to see people perform to the best of their ability and to provide quality education from medical students through to registrars. I am faculty on the Postgraduate FRCS T&O course the Chesterfield, Sheffield and Derby FRCS Clinical Examination Course which are both aimed at teaching clinical skills to prepare candidates for the FRCS exam and for a career in Orthopaedics.
